Mmm, this game feels more like a pay check then a creative endeavor. Also, why would there be a giant wall blocking two of the three tracks in a tokyo subway?
Why do the ninjas simply disappear when you kill them, instead of giving us a satisfying death animation? Why can't you jump over them?
Good job doing this in 3d, but I gave up quickly because there was little variety in the gameplay and the collectible convenient product placement "5 Gum" coins did nothing, and were not even tracked on the final score.

A lot of people found this excessively difficult. I for one beat this on my first try using a track pad instead of a mouse (which is tough for fps games) and never got below 60% or so. One thing that I found detracted from gameplay is that I found the grenade launcher before I found at least 3 previous weapons, meaning that there was nowhere to go from there. I also thought that the combat scenes made little sense since we were supposedly moving around. Why were we always fighting in the same field?

I wanted more variety, but overall the gameplay is very smooth and the graphics are excellent. Very deserving of first page. While it seemed like an exact copy of Last Stand , I enjoyed the more realistic first person perspective.

My BIGGEST GRIPE however, is that after all that drama and suspense I got nothing but a crappy congratulations screen saying that the army saved me. I want an animation showing some gore and whatnot, or at least more descriptive text. Make the ending more cathartic.

nice

Killer graphics and physics, but even on hard mode I found myself halfway paying attention while I endlessly romped all over the game until my wrist got sore and I got bored. My guess is the high score boards will be dominated by whoever goes the longest without getting bored. You might try imposing a time limit at which your score caps, so the game becomes a race to beat dungeons and unlock bonuses in the allotted time, though you can play beyond the time limit for a non-canonical score if you choose. Still, very strong submission over all.

5/10

Great concept, very smooth game play. It was fun, quick, and didn't demand more than I wanted to give to get to the end. I might have asked for a bit more difficulty toward the end, but overall this is a very strong submission. Can't wait to see more.

scored 2553 on try #1

I found the first few frames tough but soon I realized that most of the differences were just weird stripes on arms or legs, or just funky shading, a few differences in jewelry here and there, and about one background object per frame. It was a bit formulaic and most of the edits to the original pictures looked out of place, and therefore easy to find. Still, it was a nice story with good looking art.

tab

Hit Tab to cheat. OK game, space ship was not super imaginative though.

super smash

This thing is like Holiday Super Smash TV. It's well made and looks amazing but ultimately the game showed every trick it had up it's sleeve long before I was fully upgraded, so I pretty much felt that I had seen everything without really playing the game through. I just ended up quitting in the middle of a round to write this review.

Not bad, needs balance

This game is pretty good, but as I'm writing this review I am on endurance mode basically dominating the enemy to such an extent that they can't build any more buildings because they are getting no money from me. I am killing all of their bots before they make it past the wall. I feel that either death should be inevitable for me, or there should be a way for me to ultimately win rather than sitting here watching my tanks and spiders infinitely annihilate a never ending trickle of enemy peons.

mmhmm

This game was excellent, just what I needed. Liked the XKCD reference. keep up the sweet flash work man.

eek

Great game... took freaking forever, but I finally beat it.
Its greata that we didn't have to start over at every game over, we could at least stay on our moon. My only complaint was that at the end there was no real "final challenge" or boss or anything, it was pretty much just like a regualr level. Guns were great, random terrain was great, good job man, very fun.

Woot! The Wet Side of Damp got frontpage! Hopefully I will be so lucky with my next submission, which will probably be a teaser to a sci-fi series, based on the game Astrobattle. (Astrobattle.com)
